Sneak Peak No. 2 - "Tweet" to be released on Friday

I recently posted about the spring designs I'm working on for :

Old Farmhouse Gathering's (OFG) Spring Celebration will be a great sampling of work from the gals that belong to OFG.  The OFG is a wonderful group of women who have teamed up on Etsy to help promote each other.  Our Spring Celebration kicks off on Friday, so be sure to go to Etsy on Friday and search for SECOFG  and you'll find all of the team's wonderful creations!  Here is another sneak peak at one of the designs "Tweet" that  I will be releasing to my Etsy Store on March 11.  Be sure to check back often this week as I'll be giving more sneak peaks!

I've tried something new with "Tweet" - a little mixed media.  The birds are cut from scrapbook paper and then I've painted on the shadows and details.  This gives it more dimension.

What a fun way to beckon spring don't you think?

Busy, Busy, Busy - Getting Ready for the Old Farm House Gathering Winter Celebration

I've been busy getting some projects ready for the Winter Holiday Celebration with my Etsy Team - Old Farm House Gathering.  We will be launching  over 100 new winter holiday items, tomorrow, October 17, so come take a look at all the wonderful winter creations by some very talented artists.  Simply go to Etsy, type in whcofg   and it will bring up the Winter Holiday Celebration creations.

The photos above are of one of the items that I will be featuring for the Celebration.   "Brr" features a hand painted, whimsical penguin who is all dressed up for winter weather.
Another item I am featuring is Ho Ho Ho.   Santa is all ready to get you in the mood for Christmas with this cheery set of word blocks:

I will be doing additional posts on more items that I've included in the winter celebration.  I just wanted to wet your whistle now.   If you can't wait (don't =0), head on over to my Etsy site and take a look at the newest creations!  I'll be adding more each week, so make sure and check back often!

Eek - Mr. Spider!

For me, fall also brings the thought of little kiddos dressed up in silly costumes begging for candy.   When thinking about this time of year, I couldn't resist making a few things for Halloween.  I'm not a huge fan of spiders, but I couldn't resist drawing this little critter.  I wish all spiders looked like this!

Happy Labor Day and Halloween Celebration with Old Farmhouse Gathering

I hope this post finds all of you enjoying your Labor Day Weekend!

I wanted to share a few items that I have been working on for the "Halloween Celebration" with my Etsy Team - Old Farm House Gathering.  We will be launching almost a hundred new Halloween items, tomorrow September 6th, so come take a look at all the wonderful Halloween creations by some very talented artists.  Simply go to Etsy, type in HCOFG and it will bring up the Halloween Celebration creations. We will be adding items all day today, so be sure to check back for the latest listings.

The photo above is one of the items that I will be featuring for the Celebration.   "Trick or Treat" features some whimsical embellishments including jack-o-latern buttons, pokadot ribbon, star buttons and googly eyes.

Another item I am featuring are the latest in my line of salt dough ornament bowl fillers:  Halloween Mix.  These whimsical, primitive salt dough ornaments have been scented with cinnamon and nutmeg.  They look great around candles, in an old bowl or container, or in any table centerpiece you can think of.

Have a great weekend - don't forget to come by ETSY (type HCOFG) and take a look at the latest Halloween goodies!
