Let Freedom Ring

Here is one of the latest Independence Day designs I've been working on.   The bell and primitive doll are hand painted and I have a funny story to tell about that.  My husband, who knows I paint.....he's known me for a long, long time.... looked at it and wanted to know where I got the scrapbook paper with the Liberty Bell on it!  Silly guy - I guess I'll take it as a compliment...I think!

  1. Hi Kristi..
I dropped by to say hi and thank you again for this sweet little owl. And to let you know, that I have an award waiting for you over at my blog, that is,if you accept them. I so totally understand if you're award and tag free.
Hugs and have a lovely weekend..

  2. As usual I love it! I really wish I could paint but alas I have zilch talent in that area! I love anything fourth of Julyish. I was married on the 4th of July.

  3. Love your blocks...so cute! I haven't done folk art painting for a long time but you do great work. Thanks for sharing your talents with us.

  4. Have I told you lately how much I love your creations?! =) These are wonderful!

  5. Those are so cute! I love how they look so rustic.

  6. You are very talented. I thought that was a picture decoupaged on there too.

  7. These are so cute. I'm hosting Fab Finds for the Fourth this Thursday. Hope you'll drop in and link these up!

  8. These are so fun! Thanks for showing us on Modern Craftswoman Monday! Rory

  9. That is so funny! I'd take it as a compliment. That bell looks very real.
