Not Satisfied With Any Old Vinyl Sign
When I was asked by a customer to make a unique sign for her new home, you know I jumped at the chance! It's so fun to open that creative door and see what can happen. Here is what I came up with to "spruce" up a regular vinyl sign to match her primitive/country decor:
Much better than a plain old vinyl sign don't you think?

First, I added scrapbook paper to a distressed drawer front.
Then vinyl was added but I dressed it up with some fun bling!

Fun Custom Order - Matching Memory Album & Hair Bow Holder
I just love it when customers ask for something I haven't done yet, it just gets my creative juices flowing! A customer ordered a Custom Girls Name Set to match this bedding set:
And she asked me to doing a matching memory album with it:
And she asked me to doing a matching memory album with it:
It has an acrylic cover.
With lots of coordinating pages
And pockets with tags for extra photos and memories
Then this sweet customer really got my creative juices flowing. She asked for a bow holder for the new little girl's first bows and barrettes:You just clip the barrettes & bows to the ribbon. How fun is that?

Fun Recent Customized Orders
One of the funnest parts of my business is getting to be creative. Customizing orders for my customers has made me stretch and create in ways I probably wouldn't have otherwise. One of my first customized orders I shared HERE was a "Peach on a Windowsill" which really stretched me creatively.
Here are some fun orders I did this holiday season:

Sweet Customized Order
A sweet customer recently ordered a name for her soon-to-be-here baby girl Peyton. I just loved the colors she chose for Peyton's room. I thought I would share how her blocks turned out:
Ok, so maybe I want this for my room! Not so sure my hubby would approve! =0)

A Peach on a Windowsill
Did that title catch your attention? The request to make a "Peach on a Windowsill" sure did catch mine! I just couldn't resist sharing this, because it just makes me smile! Jessica requested that I make her a "Peach on a Windowsill" because when her husband thinks she looks extra beautiful, he says "Now don't you look like a peach on a windowsill!" Here is how it turned out (not the best photos - my camera is dying but a new one is ordered =0):

Here is the peach up close:
I'm curious, do any of you have fun little sayings like this? I just love it!

Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday, what to post for Wednesday! How about some fun custom orders I've done recently!
These two were for a neat lady named Sarah:

The blocks are absolutely GORGEOUS and a lot bigger than I envisioned! I am thrilled with the quality and colors...WOW! My friend is going to fall apart when she sees Emory's!!!! Thank you so, so much for capturing the colors and essence of both the orders!!!!! Can you tell I'm beyond thrilled! I'm going to post pictures of these on my blog and facebook, everywhere! I hope you get tons of orders from that and I will definitely be back to order more! I smell Christmas presents coming. Thanks again Kristi! You're a great artist!"

Faith, Hope and Love
One of the fun things about this blogging thing, is meeting such fun people. One of my very first on-line customers was Jilly. She purchased this:
Jilly told this funny little story about her husband thinking she had made the blocks and how she hadn't spilled the beans yet. =0) Well, Jilly re-ordered to add "Hope" and "Love" to her "Faith". She said she was going to have to break it to her husband as he was going to have a big project on his hands when the blocks arrived. They are re-doing a wall in her house. Well Jilly, the blocks are done (hope you like them) and we all can't wait to see your transformation!!!
