Sneak Peak #3 - Hip Hop - New Spring Release
I recently posted about the spring designs I'm working on for :
Old Farmhouse Gathering's (OFG) Spring Celebration will be a great sampling of work from the gals that belong to OFG. The OFG is a wonderful group of women who have teamed up on Etsy to help promote each other. Our Spring Celebration kicks off on Friday, so be sure to go to Etsy on Friday and search for SECOFG and you'll find all of the team's wonderful creations! Here is another sneak peak at one of the designs "Hip Hop" that I will be releasing to my Etsy Store on March 11. Be sure to check back often this week as I'll be giving more sneak peaks!
This is another "mixed-media" look that I'm working on where I use paper and paint. I have to say these very "Hip" "Hops" are one of my favorites in my new designs! They just make me smile:

Plant, Grow, Bloom
Well, it's not time to plant a garden where I live, but I know some of you can do that! I'm just dreaming and wishing about doing it through my crafts:
In addition to the scrapbooked blocks, I couldn't resist painting a few sweet spring designs!

Bloom Where You are Planted
Are you blooming where you are planted? I truly believe that we are placed in every situation as an opportunity to sharpen and smooth the rough edges on us. Yes, some situations are so tough that it seems nothing could take hold and bloom in the rocky soil. But if you look close enough, the most beautiful tree can grow out of a rocky crag. So today I give you this challenge: Are you looking close enough? Are you blooming where you are planted? Here is a little reminder to do just that! =0)

It's Time to Plant Creative Seeds at the "Plant a Punkin Seed" Linking Party Every Friday!!! (and a Bunny Stitchery Pillow)
I'm so excited to be hosting my first linking party! I have so enjoyed other's linking parties as they just tend to plant "creative seeds" in my brain. So, come plant a "creative seed" here at Punkin Seed Productions! Here is the creative seed I'm planting today:
This is a stitchery that has been colored with crayon - have you ever done this? It is super easy and so much fun! You can take about any picture you can think of, stitch it on your fabric, color it in with crayons, place a towel over the top of it and "set the crayon" with an iron (just run it over the top of the towel), add some fun buttons and fabric, and POOF - a cute little pillow for spring! Is this creative seed taking hold in fertile soil? I bet it is!
O.k., it's your turn. Here's the skinny on what to do:
- Tell all your bloggy friends there is a new linky party!!!
- Link to your specific post on your blog, no Etsy sites please.
- Grab the button below and place it within your linking post.
- Visit other friends, new and old, who are planting creative seeds (remember to leave comments)!
- Check back to see if you have been featured from the previous Punkin Seed Party! If you have, make sure to grab the "I've been featured" button and wear it with pride on your blog!
- Leave a comment here - you know how I love hearing from all my friends!!!!
